"OKLAHOMA" CHICAGO STAGEBILLS (2)
FROM THE ERLANGER THEATER IN CHICAGO
NOVEMBER 15TH 1943
PLUS THE THEATRE GUILD NATIONAL COMPANY BOOKET: "STORY OF OKLAHOMA"
The Stagebills include Who's Who in the Cast, Synopsis of Scenes, Listing of Musical Numbers; current attractions in other theaters, plus some great advertising. The inside front cover has a promo for "Kiss and Tell" (which booklet I also have for sale). Check out those great prices - $2.75 seems to be the most expensive seat. The Stagebill measures 6-3/4" x 9-1/4", 16 pages. The primary actors in this production include Mary Marlo as Aunt Eller; Harry Stockwell - Curly; Evelyn Wychkoff - Laurie; Lou Polan - Jud Fry; Pamela Britton - Ado Annie; David Burns - Ali Hakim.
The Theatre Guild booklet measures 9" x 12", Yellow and hot pink cover; 16 pages of narrative about the story, the writers, music, book and lyrics, producers, choreographer (Agnes de Mille) and photos on almost every page (in sepia tones).
The three booklets are in very good condition, no rips or tears. Only the yellow cover book shows some smudges, no doubt due to age and storage.
