Up for auction is this POLISH - ENGLISH DICTIONARY by L. SZUMKOWSKI which was printed in Chicago, Illinois in 1912. This dictionary contains 256 pages and illustrates words written in Polish and the same word written in English. It approximately measures 5 1/2" long by 3" wide by 1/2" thick. The cover is RED LEATHER WITH GOLD COLORED WRITING ON IT. It also has Chicago, Ill. stamped at the bottom of the cover in red leather. The leather is a bit worn around the edges, but the binding appears good. There are no torn or missing pages in this dictionary. I believe for its age of 96 years it has withstood the passage of time quite well.
This unique antique dictionary would be a great addition to any antique book collection!
It is from a smoke free and pet free home.
