I am pleased to offer this delightful and striking Japanese print depicting a bat flying against the moon. It is signed, but Ihave been unable to identify the artist. Having looked at it, the image could well bean original owatercolour, but I cannot tell for certain. The buyer must make up his own mind as to this point. If you run your finger over the image, the design is slightly embossed into the surface - perhaps this could offer soem clue? It is executed on board and measures 23.5 X 23.7 cm .

 Condition is good. There are some areas of slight darkening, but they do not detract. There is also some spotting confined to the back of the image and slight staining to the bottom corner.
