John Lennon handwritten lyrics to "A Hard Days Night" (REPRINT). These lyrics were written by Lennon on his flight to America where the Beatles were to appear on the Ed Sullivan TV Show in late February 1964.

Lyrics read:

"Intro] If I fell in love with your/Would you promise to be true/And help me understand/Cause I've been in love before/And I found that love was more/Than just holding hands.

1. If I gave [changed to give] my heart to you/I must be sure/From the very start that you're/Gonna love me more than here
