In 1920 the Negro Baseball League was founded to provide opportunities for racial minorities to play professional baseball in America. For more than three decades the leagues offered talented baseball players a place to showcase their skills. Players and teams became a fundamental part of American culture and are forever woven into the fabric of Professional Baseball. This product honors the traditions and heritage of The Negro Baseball Leagues. Royalties from the sales of all MLB Negro Leagues merchandise benefit former Negro Leagues players, the Negro Leagues Baseball museum, and the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

This is a heavy porcelain Christmas Ornament the size and shape of a MLB regulation baseball. It honors those members of the NEWARK EAGLES. The Trademarked in 1994 by Flambro, this EAGLES Christmas Ornament is officially licensed. Accordingly, the ornament is painted with the official team logo and official team colors of the EAGLES. It even has raised sculptured seams with simulated stitching. The ornament is approx. 2 ¾" in diameter (the size of a baseball). It has a shiny gold covered string used to hang the ornament. It is also suitable for gaining autographs.
