Map of  England & Wales, from Mitchell's New General Atlas 1865.

Marvellous vibrant hand colored map, great detail. 

Map measures 13 1/4" x 10 3/4" approx.

Has light  ageing and slight stains in borders. This is in very good condition for an item 143 years old.

Map has no printing on the reverse. Copyright of 1860 S.A.Mitchell Jr printed bottom of map.

Great piece of history would look fantastic framed on the wall of an office or home.

These maps are becoming very rare and increasingly hard to find.
