This Family Archive contains alphabetical listings of approximately 385,000 war veterans and veterans' widows who were enumerated on the special veterans' schedule of the 1890 United States census. From this Family Archive you can get select information about each listed individual, such as their name, state and county of residence at the time of the census, as well as a more specific location, such as the city or township. You can also learn where to find copies of the original veterans' schedules, which contain more information about the veteran or their widow. The states represented on this Family Archive CD include AL, D.C., IL, KY,LA, MD, ME, MI, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY. In addition, there are a few records from the states of CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, MA, NY, OH, and PA.
