Opening Day of the Championship-  Monarcks VS Hillsdale.  All the greats...Santop  C JohnsonBell and others on the two great teams.

I bought this at a flea market and thought it was real.  After close examination I realized I had been taken.  I "fooled" myself into thinking I was gettting a big deal.  I got it alright..

This is the best forgery I have ever seen....this is not a reprint but a forgery the difference in the quality of the copy.....The guy that made these was a really good pressman.  The same weight and gauge of paper.  Elaborate staining,  strategic "wavy" edges and some water spots,  same ink and clarity as the original.  Dead giev-a-way was the overlap in the center, these issues were never glued together but the forger didn't have a pres big enough and produced it in two pcs.  Looking at the front you cannot tell it is two pieces which is almost unbeliveable craftsmanship.

This would be worth a couple $ thousand if real.  I am not saying what I paid but you won't pay anything near what I paid.

Remember this is a really great forgery not the real deal.  This line-up photo measures 33' by 7 3/4".  Please don't buy this to resell as real, for display only.  $8 S&H.
