The DVM60PRL (blue) replaced the DVM60PR2 (the RED Premium packaging - last years model!)
So if you're seeing the DVM60PR2 (red) packaging, it's old stock.

Import/grey market tape is generally older tape stock, travellend farther, and in unknown conditions. Do you trust your precious memories with inferior tape ? If you do, better hope it can be recorded again... don't lose your once in a life-time moments!

This yellow/orange DVM60PR3 is NOT a US Market tape! It is from overseas/european market. There is a reason why you find it on www.sony.it (italy), www.sony.fr (france), www.sony.se (sweden), www.sony.de, and all global sony sites - and that's because it is NOT meant for USA/North American market. The truth is that the current US Market tape (as found on Sony USA websites www.sony.com, www.sonystyle.com, www.mediabysony.com are the DVM60PRL (blue) packaging. YES the same one you find in USA retail stores. Others might tell you differently, but this is the final truth and REALITY. Not hard to confirm with Sony USA. This DVM60PR3 (orange) is NOT MADE for US consumption! It is grey market/foreign (to US) market tape.
