A good speed easel is a must for the high volume darkroom. The Ganz series of Speed Ez-Els provides a very reliable way to do mass volume, same size printing with a minimum of effort. The easel is secured to the enlarger baseboard. The paper is inserted through a slot on one end and removed through another slot on the other end after the exposure is made. A fixed 3/16" border will automatically be set for each print.

You are bidding on a Rare used Ganz series 3x5 (actual 3-1/2"x5") on a quick 4x5 sheet Speed-Ez-El Photographic Enlarging Easel. Why is this easel size significant? Well, most darkroom enthusiasts and professionals know the savings of purchasing an 8x10 sized box of enlarging paper and cutting down the sheets for smaller 5x7, 4x5 or 3-1/2x5 size enlargements. Since 8x10 easily and quickly "quarters-up" into a box of 4x5 sheets in the dark, 3-1/2x5 print requests are much more simply accomplished by slipping in a 4x5 sheet and simply trimming off the edge from the enlargement!
If you're not familiar with Speed-Ez-Els, they are absolutely the quickest way of making photographic enlargements! Simply frame and focus on the easel print area with 3/16" border edges that make print framing and cropping in the dark a snap! Enlarging paper is simply slid into the Speed-Ez-El from a thumb notched slit opening in either end allowing quick and easy removal of the exposed print for processing! Works equally well with Color or B&W enlargements!
This Speed-Ez-El has been professionally used, but not abused and has customary signs of use but they are simply cosmetic, and in no way effect the easel's usefulness. The easel is still in very usable condition! If you're not happy with it, simply return it for a refund (-s/h) within 7 days of receipt. I want you to be a "happy camper!"
A "standard" 3x5 Speed-Ez-El is currently listed for sale at B&H Photographic for $26.50.
