I have for your consideration this hard to find W. H. Robinson porcelain Tea cup and saucer. This was made in Longton, Staffordshire England. I picked this up at a recent estate auction. The pattern looks to be "DOVE". The number on the set looks to be 689. It is not very often a 100 year old tea cup comes up for auction.
The saucer measures 5 3/8" wide. The cup stands 2 5/8" high. The top of the cup is 3 1/4" wide.
Of course there are faults with this set. There are light scratches from use on the saucer. The gold trim loss on the saucer and on the handle of the cup is quite noticeable. The trim on the top of the cup is not so bad. There is also a hairline crack on the top of cup. I have tried to show it in the pics. Look inside the cup high inside the right edge of the pattern. With all the faults and my low starting price I hope there is someone out there that would love to have a 100 year old Tea cup & saucer..

Mailing tea from Nova Scotia across Canada changes as the distance between you and me increases. I have 2 rates mentioned, from here to Ontario and from here to Manitoba and beyond. The USA delivery is classified as International mail so it costs a bit more to mail from here compared to domestic rates in the USA. It also takes between one and two weeks (sometimes longer)to receive the items.
