Item Description

This auction is from the "SYRACUSE HERALD, SUNDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 17, 1929 MAGAZINE FRONT PAGE" that was autographed by AIR MAIL PILOT CY "SHORTY" BITTNER and dated that morning. This Magazine Front Page carries a report of the Air Mail Pilots flying the Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo route.  It bears a photograph of the pilot and his airplane.  The newspaper does show it's age but is in pretty good shape considering the years.  There are some wear areas where it was folded and the top right corner has some loss of paper.  I have not attempted any restoration or framing and have kept it folded in a firm folder.  This would be a beautiful addition to any collection or gift for any collector.

As with all shipping, when available, delivery confirmation is included with tracking number provided buyer upon request. Normally you receive it so fast there will be no concern for you to track your purchase. You pay today, I have tomorrow to pack it and ship by the following day.

Items that must be taken to the Post Office for shipping because of being too large to ship from the Homestead Mailbox or not eligible for scheduled pickup, AND ALL International First Class USPS Shipping are done each Friday. This is necessary to reduce fuel cost as my post office is over 20 Miles round trip, plus the time lost. This way I can avoid having to add a large handling charge for a special drive to town.

I ship Monday through Friday, but have been known to ship some Saturdays though not always guaranteed. It depends on the workload here on the Homestead. Weekends I am working outside most times limited to other Homestead projects.

Please give us a visit at ASWEGOHOMESTEAD.COM and see what a Music Professor and Retired Navy Master Chief are up to in fulfilling our dream of "Five Acres and Independence" in Central Florida. This is not a "selling" website. We only sell from our Ebay Auctions, Ebay Store, and by appointment at the homestead.

Thanks,

George
