Up for bids is this neat old bank from years and years ago.  The Uncle Sam's 3 Coin Cash Register Bank is made of metal and in good condition.

Manufactured by the Durable Toy & Novelty Co. 

There's a hole in the bottom which reads "Deposit paper money here".

I understand that the money drawer is supposed to open when $10.00 in coin has been deposited.  The sum read 55 cents for the photo taking session.  I put a quarter in the slot, pulled the handle, and now the total reads 80 cents...so it certainly appears to be in working order.  The bank  will not 'register' pennies....they'll be the frosting on the cake when the drawer opens!
